Woodstock, August 25, 2011 – Local entrepreneurs are invited to attend an interactive business workshop entitled the “5-Keys to Business Success” scheduled for Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Cherokee Association of Realtors training room in Woodstock.
A similar workshop has been held several times, hosted by local companies including Esther Vayman an attorney and partner at V&T Law; Kathy Stroup with First Cherokee State Bank's ACRU; Jey Willis an agent with State Farm Insurance; Linda Lullie co-owner of the Inspired 2 Design marketing agency; and Wendy Corlett owner of Acclaim Professional Services accounting and tax services.
“Our workshops help business owners by sharing common issues and providing real life, workable solutions,” said Mrs. Corlett, a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor whose section focuses on compliance through proper bookkeeping and ways to save money on taxes.
The seminar includes five sections – legal structure, financing, insurance, accounting, and marketing – each designed to inform entrepreneurs how to form, finance, insure, protect and brand their business. The workshop will be interactive and will feature a local business owner who will share his real world examples of challenges, failures, and successes.
“Running a business in today’s economy is difficult. Too many business owners are trying to wear so many hats in order to make ends meet, and they need help," said Mrs. Lullie, whose graphic and website design company is in its 6th year. "We will share unique, but proven, solutions to the everyday hurdles we all face in business."
Every entrepreneur and anyone who may be considering starting a business is urged to attend this workshop being held Tuesday, October 11, 2011 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm in the training room of the Cherokee Association of Realtors office, 1600 River Park Blvd, Suite 104, Woodstock, Georgia 30188 (off Hwy 5/Holly Springs Parkway at Sixes Road).
